Prayer Mountain was renamed Osanri Choi Ja-sil Memorial Fasting Prayer Mountain.

South America's biggest Protestant revival crusade - Dr. Cho's crusades and the Church Growth International Conference hosted by CGI and the South American United Church Association were held in Panama City, the capital of Panama, and in Bogota, the capital of Colombia. The host had prepared one year before the crusade, held to let the people in South America know clearly about Christianity and giving an impetus to missions for the region as well. Thirty thousand people attended the meetings, so they considered it the biggest Protestant revival crusade in South America.

San Jose crusade and North American Council Full Gospel World Mission Association - Dr. Cho led the North American Council Full Gospel World Mission Association in Canada and the San Jose crusade in the United States.

Dr. Cho's messages titled, "Invitation to Happiness" were started to broadcast weekly through TV and radio. There were about 100 million listeners from Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, and Nigeria as well as from Eastern Africa. As for TV, KBC (Kenya Broadcasting Corporation) TV was contacted to broadcast it from June 14 every Friday from 10:00 p.m.- 10:40 p.m.

Prayer meeting for the nation hosted by the Emergency Saving Nation Korea Christian United Association was held at Yoido Plaza with about one million people attending from all areas of Korea. The preachers were Dr. Cho, Rev. Jang-whan Kim, and Rev. Jo-jun Park.

Dr. Cho was invited to speak at the 44th General Council of the Assemblies of God in the USA.

Rice donation to Mongolia - Donated 10,000 bags of rice to Mongolia that was harvested in 1986, which followed 1,000 ton of rice donation named, "Rice of Love" last April 18.

Dr. Cho's crusades in the United States - Dr. Cho attended a "Korean Revival Crusade" which was held at the Church of God Retreat Center in Atlanta and preached a powerful message to the 6,000 congregation during the day. Also, he led Sunday worship service and crusades at one of the leading churches in the Church of God, which was an interdenominational sensation of the movement of the Holy Spirit.

Dr. Cho's crusades in Rome and Switzerland - Dr. Cho preached at the 9th Christian Crusade in Rome from November 1-3. After that, he led a church growth seminar and revival crusade in Yverdon, Switzerland.
The program for the crusade in Rome, Italy at the venue where 3,000 people attended included a seminar, a crusade, and a prayer meeting. Dr. Cho led the church growth seminar in the morning, and he led a crusade and divine healing ministry in the evening. On the 700th anniversary celebration of the confederacy in 1991, Dr. Cho's crusade in Switzerland was held with 4,000 people attending from November 6-7.

Taiwan Evangelism Crusade was held at Chungshan Stadium in Taipei. It was hosted by 3,000 interdenominational pastors for the purpose of seeking church growth and evangelism in Taiwan.
