Introduction : It is impossible for man to change a cave into a tunnel. However, the Bible says, "Everything is possible for him who believes." God said there is hope even when we surrender all hope. To show us hope, God must do great and unsearchable things we do not know. We may live with strong faith, because the gracious God is with us.


1. The great and unsearchable things that God has done
    1) The miracle of the Red Sea (Ex 14:14-16)
    2) The miracle of the manna (Ex 16:4, 35)
    3) The miracle of the quail (Nu 11:21-23)

2. The great and unsearchable things that Jesus has done
    1) The wedding at Cana (Jn 2:7-9)
    2) The hopeless Cross became great victory (Jn 12:23, Ac 2:23-24)

3. The great and unsearchable things that God has prepared for us
    (1Co 2:9, Ps 104:24)
    1) The God of preparation
        (1) God created heaven and earth, the Garden of Eden, and Adam (Ge 1:27, 2:8)
        (2) God has already prepared salvation before all ages (Ge 3:15, Isa 53:4-6)
        (3) God has prepared heaven (Mk 1:15, Jn 14:1-3)
    2) Keeps it as a secret until it appears to humankind
        (1) Cannot understand with sense knowledge (Isa 53:1, Ro 16:25-26)
        (2) Accept it only by faith (Ro 1:17, 3:23-25)

4. The things that we should do
    1) We must realize that God already knew how to do it (the secret of God)
        (Jer 32:27, 33:2-3)
    2) Accept God´s help in the affirmative (Jer 29:11, Ps 121:1-2)
    3) Dream that great and unsearchable things will happen in your life
        (Job 12:13, 42:2, Eph 30;20)
    4) Do not try to find out but just believe
        (Mk 11:22-23, Mk 9:23, Heb 11:1-2, 6, Ps 55:22)
    5) Confess positively and pray with your whole heart
        (Ps 81:10, Nu 23:19, Mk 11:24, 7:29, Pr 18:21)


Conclusion : People want to know and believe everything. However, God is telling us that we must believe first to know the truth, but the sensualists don´t want to believe unless they find out the truth first. That is why they cannot see the glory of God. The Bible says, "If you believed, you would see the glory of God." When we face trouble, believe without negative thoughts that God already knows how to remove our problem and pray with firm faith, then God will show us great and unsearchable answers.
