Introduction : Some people show their temper by just hearing about missionary work. We have good faith in God. Why should we preach the gospel in foreign countries? The answer is very simple. If there is a person struggling in the river and you have a boat and could save that person, how could you just pretend not to know about that situation? Or if you just watch your neighbor´s house on fire and don´t even call the emergency number for help, you are a bad person. We cannot just leave people alone when we know that they will suffer in hell if they don´t believe in Jesus. Then, is Jesus Christ the only way to be saved? Of course! The Bible says, "Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God´s wrath remains on him"    (Jn 3:36).


1. Only Jesus Christ is the way.
    1) Have you ever been lost before?
    2) The allied forces that lost their way in the desert and died.
    3) Humankind became a lost existence after the Garden of Eden.
    4) There were many guides, but they also lost, and that´s the actual circumstances.
    5) Only Jesus is the way    (Jn 14:6; 3:13-15).
        (1) His descent.
        (2) His life.
        (3) His death of atonement.
        (4) His resurrection    (Jn 1:14; Mk 10:45; Heb 10:20).
    6) Jesus is    (Ro 3:23,24; 1 Co 6:11; 1 Th 4:16,17):
        (1) The way to forgiveness and righteousness.
        (2) The way to holiness and receiving the Holy Spirit.
        (3) The way to healing and health.
        (4) The way to blessing and prosperity.
        (5) The way to resurrection and eternal life in heaven.

2. Only Jesus Christ is the truth.
    1) The devil is the father of falsehood    (Jn 8:44).
        (1) The devil deceived Adam.
        (2) Couldn´t deceive Jesus.
        (3) The whole world is deceived by the devil    (1 Jn 5:19).
             Historical materialism, the theory of evolution, humanism, mammonism,
             hedonism.
    2) The reason only Jesus Christ is the truth.
        (1) Because He is the creator    (Jn 1:3; Ac 14:15).
            He knows all things, because He created all things.
        (2) Because He is the Alpha and the Omega    (Rev 1:8,17; Isa 44:6; Ac 1:11).
        (3) Because He died and rose again    (Rev 1:18).
    3) Two truths cannot exist together and cannot be changed    (Ac 4:12; Heb 13:8).

3. Only Jesus Christ is eternal life.
    1) He created humankind to be immortal    (Ex 3:14).
        (1) God is an everlasting God
            - Humankind was formed in the likeness and image of the eternal God.
        (2) The source of death is sin - for when you eat of it you will surely die (Ro 5:12).
        (3) The devil holds the power of death    (Heb 2:14).
    2) Jesus Christ came, who is our God.
        (1) He cannot die because He was born without sin    (Heb 4:15; 1 Ti 6:16).
             The great King of life, dead daughter of the synagogue ruler,
             son of a widow at Nain, saved Lazarus.
        (2) Jesus took our sin and died    (Jn 3:16; 2 Co 5:21).
        (3) Jesus overcame death and rose again    (Ro 4:25).
        (4) He lives forever    (Jn 11:25,26; Rev 1:18).
    3) Seed of life    (1 Pe 1:23-25; Jn 1:4).


Conclusion : Only Jesus Christ is the way to heaven, the truth, and eternal life. It is a sin if you don´t preach the Gospel to the people who are struggling in the sea of death, being swallowed up in the fire of hell.
