The Suffered Jesus
Isaiah 53:7 ~ 53:12

Jesus is a true God who came as a man, and was born without sin. He lived on the land for 33 years, and died on the cross to save people who have become slaves to Satan. He received punishment on behalf of us, and shed water and blood. After being in pain for six hours, He said, "It is finished." Then, He gave up His spirit. Jesus suffered this way in order to free us from the power of sins, transgressions, diseases, curses, and death.

1. Jesus who was punished on behalf of me
1) He died for my sin and gave me righteousness as a gift. (2 Cor. 5:21)
2) He died for my transgression and gave me holiness and purity. (Eph. 2:1~5)
3) He died for my disease and gave me healing and health. (1 Pet. 2:24)
4) He died for my curse and allowed a life of blessings. (Gal. 3:13)
5) He died for me and allowed resurrection and eternal life. (John 11:25~26)

2. Our wrong thoughts
1) Just like Isaiah's prophecy, "He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him," Jesus' growing up was ordinary. (Isa. 53:2~3)
2) Just like the prophecy, "He was despised and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces he was despised, and we esteemed him not," people did not value Jesus.
3) Jesus took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows. He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed. (Isa. 53:4~6)

3. The Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all
1) God has laid on him the iniquity of us all. (Isa. 53:6)
2) Jesus who carried our iniquities was oppressed and afflicted, yet he did not open his mouth. He had done no violence, nor was any deceit in his mouth. (Isa. 53:7~9)

Conclusion
God wanted Jesus' suffering. God who was sorrowful of the first Adam's rebellion renewed things through Jesus who was the last Adam. "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!"
